My boss is sending to me to Fresno, California for the next six months so I can oversee a big work project. I’m excited about spending time in California, but I’m not excited about having to live out of a suitcase in a hotel room for the next year and a half. Monday, January 2nd, 2012I’ve put in a lot of hard work over the last year. It has finally paid off, I’ve been promoted! I’m very excited, I’ll be managing my own team. I was pretty nervous waiting for the announcement. I knew I deserved it, but there were some other good candidates I was up against. I’ve been working towards this goal for so long, I can’t believe I’ve finally achieved it. I feel like now I’m in a position where I can look to settle down. I will be transferring to our Regina office, which is a few hours away from my current office. I found a website with some condos for sale in Regina, so I’ve started looking on there. There were some very nice places. I’m looking forward to getting out of an apartment and into a place that I own. Once I’ve moved into a condo, I’ll be sure to have everyone out to celebrate!
