Absolute Tabs - Site ReviewThe site is a little bit different than others because it has a South African theme to it.
There are a limited number of tablatures (just over 3,000) and mainly concentrates on ones from South Africa. It has a separate tablature section for South African and Afrikaan songs.
The site has CD reviews, interviews and tutorials.
The guitar tutorials are quite useful and are worth a read.

Available Tabs: guitar, bass
Negatives: Lacks depth in database and you have to download the file to your computer. You have to search from the alphabetical list.
Positives: The review section is quite interesting, with about 26 in-depth review of South African artist's CD releases. There are also a handful of gig reviews.
The tutorial section is mainly for the beginner/intermediate player and includes a detailed explanation of how to read and write tablature and a section on chord formation. At the time this review was done, the HTML wasn't working, so you may have to use the text version.
Search Method: Has it's own database.
