Selling Your MusicApollotunes - Site ReviewApollo Tunes has a 4 tiered profit sharing program.
Of the 100% sale of music, 50% goes DIRECTLY to the artist, 25% stays with ApolloTunes, and 25% goes into our Profit Pool that is divided on a yearly basis between all our Premium Members. This rate is divided into tiers based on overall sales, while bands are funneled into a tier based on their downloads.
Apollo Tunes, Apollo Music Group and Apollo Radio are all subsidiaries of Apollo Entertainment.
It is free to join but you can upgrade to access premium features.
After expenses (Credit Card transaction fees), they split profits 50/50. You'll make a minimum of $.36 per song or $4.70 per album.
Free users can upload a max of 5 songs to their player, while premium members can upload upto 10 songs to their player. Free members are charged a $5 fee per album, while Premium members can upload an unlimited amount of albums to the store.
Songs that are uploaded do not have to be DRM (digital rights management) encoded. Apollo Tunes are not worried about P2P networks as only major artists are traded on such sites and APOLLOTUNES.com is geared more towards independent music.
