As an artist you pay an annual subscription of 10 pounds for the basic EP pack, but in return you get to keep 100% of your earnings. i.e. if you sell 50 downloads priced at 1 pound each you would receive 50 pounds.
The basic pack for 10 pounds per year allows you to have up to five tracks on sale at any one time which can sell 168 downloads. When the 168 limit has been reached, artists can top up or upgrade their subscription to provide more capacity.
You decide your own pricing structure through the control panel and you can change this at any time.
They have an interesting promotions feature which allows artists to run special offers that are driven by limiting time or quantity. For example an artist could market a track as "60p for the first 20 purchases”and when these have been sold the price would automatically revert to the normal price or the track could be removed from sale (a digital ‘limited edition’).
Each week, sales and preview charts are automatically generated from the database of activity. These charts can be filtered by genre.
