CD Unsigned - Site Review

CD Unsigned has two main objectives.
a) An online portal for music lovers to buy new and emerging music
b) An online outlet for British and worldwide bands to sell their music

If you are in a band and have released a CD, you can get your CD distributed with them by sending 5-10 CDs directly to them. They say that each time a CD is sold you get paid straight away and you can choose the way in which you would like to receive payment.

You set your own selling price for the CD and they keep 2 pounds for every one sold. There is a one time band registration of 19.99 pounds.

If you have released more that ONE CD, you can sell them all there with one registration fee (each CD will have its own separate page).

The money goes towards:
1) Creating your artist page.
2) Providing a permanent 24/7 online storefront for your CD.
3) Providing a checkout and delivery system to sell your CD.
4) Hosting and streaming of your song clips.
5) Funds for website maintainence and advertising.

- They will NOT discontinue your CD if it doesn't sell and
are always happy to stock it!
- Your CDs do NOT have to be barcoded or shrinkwrapped.
- You can sell home made CDRs here as long as they have
good-looking printed sleeves and labels.
- There is no contract to sign.
