Selling Your MusicMperia - Site ReviewMperia defines itself as an online music store that sells tracks by independent artists. It is free for artists to join.
You can set your own price for your songs and 70% of revenue goes directly to the artist.
To put your music up, it must be in stereo MP3 format, encoded between 128 - 192 kbps. DRM is not used on this site and the contract with them is non-exclusive.
To request a payout you have to accumulate more than $20 worth of sales. They can transfer the money to your PayPal account or send it to your bank via automated check handling.
For users to buy music on the site, they have to buy a BitPass account. However, Bitpass is discontinuing operations and has partnered with Digital River to provide operational support during the period prior to shut down - so you better see what happens with this before using the site.
