OnlineRock is an online music community that lets musicians, music fans and others build Web sites to promote their music endeavors. It also provides member and visitors with a variety of services including the ability to sell music, up-to-date music news, Web- based email, information on online and off-line music technology, bulletin boards and label services.

When selling your CD Online, onlinerock take the order, process the payment, and fill and ship the order for $3.00 per CD plus a $25.00 set-up charge.

For your money, onlinerock will create a custom page for your CD that includes the following:
1.Musician or Band Biography
2.Information about the CD
3.Complete Track Listing
4. Links to your Web site
5. CD Cover Scans
6. Real Audio Samples of your Music
7. Rotation on OnlineRock Radio
8. Easy to find URL www.onlinerock.com/username
9. Reporting of sales to SoundScan
10.Consideration for review in their CD Review section

You have to complete a submission form and send six copies of your CD, five for consignment and one for OnlineRock to create sound samples and scans. CDs can be self-made from your computer and don't need shrink-wrapping or a bar code. You set the price for each CD and OnlineRock takes a $3.00 commission. OnlineRock will issue you a check on the 15th of each month for the prior month's sales.
